There’s a group of people who are afraid to ask more than once a year for a donation.

Are you part of that group?  Are you afraid you’re going to make a donor mad or make them feel uncomfortable?

If you are, you’re making a big mistake.

Donors give when they are asked. 

And if you only ask once, you’re leaving huge amounts of money on the table.

Give your donors multiple opportunities throughout the year to support you.  You should be asking for money directly 2 or 3 times during the year.  Include an envelope in your newsletter.  Invite them to an event.

Remember – just because you have an ‘annual fund’ doesn’t mean you should only ask people once a year.
