“Thank you thank you THANK YOU. What an incredible week. So grateful to you and to the Shark Tank judges for their generosity. As I was taking my shoes off in the ol’ security line at the airport on Friday, I noticed that the bin I was about to put them in had… I am not kidding… 2 pennies in it. Took that as a sign that we’re on the right track and that the universe heard the message. We WILL make the project happen!!
Honestly, I feel like I spent last week among royalty or rock stars or something. Being around so many passionate people who care about making a positive change in the world — what is more inspiring than that? Thank you for bringing us all together. It was a confidence boost and an experience of being held by other folks who are doing great work in the world.”
Mara Thomas, Business Manager, Center for Inquiry-Based Learning, Durham, NC
“Thank you for putting together such a wonderful retreat. It’s clear how passionate you are about helping others succeed and how enthusiastic you are about fundraising. Thank you and your team for all the hard work you did. It was really amazing.”
Natalie Corwin, Executive Director, Pet Community Center, Nashville, TN
“My favorite part of the event was honing our impact statement. I came home and immediately threw out the appeal letter I had written and rewrote it. I feel much better about it now. The thing I learned that will help me the most is that we need to move away from the event after event mentality and start building relationships with our donors. Thanks for a great event – from the beginning til the end, it was really well done.”
Charlotte Bowers, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County, Oak Ridge, TN
“The Inspired Fundraising Retreat was one of the most positive experiences of my entire life. I came out of that with so much more confidence in my abilities. Thank you for championing me. You are one of a kind and I’m so thankful to know you!”
Candi Summers, Operations Manager, BESTWA, Dallas, TX
